Two Shot In North Lawndale
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were shot early Wednesday in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.
The two were sitting inside a van in the 1500 block of South Trumbull Avenue at 12:50 a.m. when they heard gunfire and suddenly felt pain, police said.
One man, 18, suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in "stable" condition, police said. Meanwhile, a bullet grazed a 19-year-old man's ankle. That person refused medical treatment, police added.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
