Kirk Wants Full Investigation Into Hines VA Hospital

(CBS) -- Federal investigators are combing records at Hines Veterans Hospital in Maywood and Senator Mark Kirk says they're there for a good reason.

Kirk says he's asked for a complete investigation by the VA inspector General's office.

"I am going to ensure that as a ranking Republican member on the Veterans' Appropriations subcommittee that they have enough resources to make sure that there is no secret waiting list that could harm healthcare for our veterans," said Kirk.
