Teen Seriously Wounded In Kenwood Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy was seriously wounded in a shooting in the Kenwood neighborhood on the South Side Sunday afternoon.
The boy was in the 4700 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue just after 3 p.m. when he was shot in the back and abdomen, police said. The shooting might have been a drive-by, police said.
He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in serious condition, police added.
No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
