Body Found In Vehicle On Northwest Side

(STMW) -- A body was found in a vehicle Friday night in the Jefferson Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The male body was found in a vehicle in the 6300 block of West Strong Street about 7:15 p.m., according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Police could be seen examining a white SUV parked in front of a home on that block Friday night.

The medical examiner's office said the body was decomposed, but did not release any additional information Friday night.

Area North detectives are conducting a death investigation.
