Man Killed In NW Indiana Motorcycle Crash

LOWELL, Ind. (STMW) -- A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening in Northwest Indiana.

Officials from the Lake County Coroner's office were dispatched at 6:40 p.m. to the crash in the 200 block of Wicker Avenue in Lowell, Ind., according to a statement from the coroner's office.

Adam Szecpanck, 61, suffered blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:40 p.m., the statement said.

Szecpanck lived in the 6700 block of West 157th Place in Lowell, authorities said. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Lake County Sheriff's deputies could not be reached for details on the crash early Monday.
