(CBS) — The Porter County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an unusual discovery.
WBBM’s Mike Krauser reports a Union Township homeowner told police he woke to his doorbell at about 1 a.m. Friday. When he opened the door, he say a what the police report calls a rather large pig’s head. It has been left in a five gallon bucket and positioned so that the pig seemed to be staring back at him, according to the man.
He said he told police he had no idea who would have left it there. The man said there had been recent incidents of vandalism when eggs were tossed at the house and a car and a car was keyed by someone.
The homeowner told police he could not think why he or his children, a young girl and a teenage boy, would be targeted by vandals, but he said he is putting up surveillance cameras.
