Man Critically Wounded In Back Of The Yards Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was critically wounded in a shooting early Tuesday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.
The man, 23, was shot in the chest at 12:27 a.m. while he was standing in the street in the 5400 block of South Paulina Street and someone opened fire from a nearby alley, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.
He was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition, Gaines said.
