Eight Hurt In West Side Porch Collapse
CHICAGO (STMW) –Eight people, including two children, were hurt when a porch collapsed Sunday evening in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.
The collapse happened in the 700 block of North St. Louis Avenue about 5:52 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Ana Pachecho said.
Four adults, including a 38-year-old woman in serious condition, were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Pacheco said. Another adult was taken to Norwegian-American Hospital.
Another adult and two children were taken to St. Mary’s, Pachecho said.
