Homeless Man Charged With Entering Apartment, Fondling Sleeping Woman

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (CBS) --A homeless man is being held on $500,000 bond - accused of entering a Waukegan home Sunday and trying to sexually assault a woman who was sleeping.

Police in Waukegan say 33-year-old Lliau Moreno-Tepecha admitted to what he's accused of: Home Invasion, Criminal Trespass to Residence, Criminal Sexual Abuse, Attempt Criminal Sexual Assault, and Residential Burglary.

Police say he got into a family's home through an unlocked door about 7 in the morning and touched a 25-year-old woman who was sleeping.

Police say she was able to get away and managed to take her child and run from the home and then give officers a description of Moreno-Tepecha, who was arrested near the home.

He has another court appearance in three weeks.
