Investigators say Smith was hanging out with a group of people near a building in the 500 block of East Ashland Avenue when multiple shots were fired at the group from a line of trees.

Police say Smith ran, but later collapsed at the spot where he was discovered by officers.

Authorities say they have no suspect or motive for the shooting and do not know if this shooting is connected to another shooting yesterday that left a 24-year old man dead.

Aurora Police are offering a $5,000 reward to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the deadly shooting.
