AMBER Alert Canceled After Siblings Found Safe

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 3-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl have been found safe, after they were allegedly abducted by their father in Waukegan on Thursday.

Illinois State Police said Dyniste Finley, 4, and Dejavante Finley, 3, were abducted at approximately 9:20 a.m. Friday at 15 S. County St. in Waukegan, by their father, 23-year-old Dejavante Finley.

An AMBER Alert was issued for the children Thursday afternoon, but was canceled a short time later. Zion police said a relative dropped the children off with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, and they were in good condition. Their father was not in custody.

Their father was last seen driving a dark blue 2006 chevy Malibu with a temporary Wisconsin license plate K7561C.
