LLWS: Jackie Robinson West Game Most Watched Program In Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Jackie Robinson West continues to be a ratings blockbuster, with Thursday night's thrilling victory being the most-watched TV program in Chicago.
JRW's Little League World Series win over Philadelphia pulled in an very impressive 8.2 household rating, with 422,000 total viewers, making it the No. 1 among all programs.
Comparing baseball-to-baseball: The 11 and 12-year-old stars, blew away the hapless Cubs.
The North Siders were watched by about 66,000 viewers for a paltry 1.6 rating in households.
On Monday, the JRW team also blew away the White Sox in the ratings, with a 3.7 rating locally, compared with a meager 0.7 for the White Sox.
That Little League World Series game ranked No. 3 among all programs, and also outdrew the Monday Night Football game, which featured ESPN media darling Johnny Manziel.
Jackie Robinson West plays Nevada on Saturday for the U.S. Championship.
