Blackhawks Assign Michael Leighton, Peter Regin To Rockford

(CBS) -- The Chicago Blackhawks trimmed their roster on Sunday, assigning goaltender Michael Leighton and center Peter Regin to the Rockford Ice Hogs of the AHL.

The Blackhawks roster now stands at 14 forwards, 11 defenseman and two goaltenders.
