Marshall: Bears Offense Still 'Not Good Enough'

By Dan Durkin-

(CBS) Despite having his most explosive reception of the season (47 yards) and highest yardage total (113) last week, Brandon Marshall isn't satisfied with his performance or that of the Bears' offense in general.

"It's not good enough," Marshall said. "We've got to get better. The first half last week wasn't good enough. If we can come out and start faster than we did, cut some of those penalties in half, I think we'll have a chance."

Marshall will get a chance to help his team's offense improve Sunday when the Bears host the Dolphins, his former team. But he doesn't view Miami in that light any longer after he's spent the past two-plus seasons in Chicago.

"Management isn't there, coaches arent't here," Marshall said. "We know the turnaround with the players in the locker room, so there's only a few guys left. It really doesn't feel like my old team, I was only there for a few years."

One of the new players in the Miami locker room is cornerback Brent Grimes, whom Marshall holds in high regard.

"Grimes is a guy that I really believe is really a top-five cornerback," Marshall said. "He's super-duper focused, he's a technician and he competes. If you look at his feet, the way he gets in and out of his breaks is amazing."
