17-Year-Old Boy Fatally Shot On South Side
(CBS) -- A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot Sunday around noon on the South Side, Chicago police said.
The teenager was walking down the sidewalk in the 8200 block of South Houston when an unknown male approached him and fired shots, hitting the 17-year-old in the abdomen. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No one is in custody and police are investigating.
