Jonathan Toews Selling Penthouse Condo For $2.25 Million

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Jonathan Toews is looking to unload his penthouse condo, perhaps looking for an even nicer space after signing a massive contract extension this past summer that could keep in in Chicago for a long time.
If it sells for the $2.25 million asking price, the Chicago Blackhawks star won't make much of a profit, but with his $84 million hockey deal locked up, it doesn't really matter.
Curbed Chicago reports Toews bought the three-bedroom space for just over $2 million two years ago.
According to the listing, the Lakeview East pad includes hardwood floors throughout, high-end kitchen appliances (good bet they have been rarely used) and amazing views of the lake and city.
The sweeping balcony comes with a hot tub.
The condo is move-in ready. Because it is decorated in "bachelor chic" (meaning, there are a few plants surrounded by nice furniture) it would allow the owner/decorator to dive right in.
