Man Wearing Bulletproof Vest Arrested Outside Riverside School
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man who claimed to work for the FBI, wore a bulletproof vest and was loitering on a school playground in west suburban Riverside is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation, reports WBBM's Bob Roberts.
Police Chief Tom Weitzel says Jeffrey Waiman Wo, 41, carried $24,000 in cash and claimed his job was to study lights.

"He kept repeating the fact that he had flown from San Francisco to Midway Airport to inspect lights, specifically lights on outside of buildings and then we asked him why he chose Illinois to fly to, he said because it is the home state of the President of the United States," Weitzel said.
Because Wo wore a bulletproof vest and was on a schoolyard, he was handcuffed immediately but had no gun either on him or in his hotel room in Lyons.
Police also gave a copy of the report to the Secret Service.
There were more than 300 children inside St. Mary Elementary School at the time.
Police say because of the man's unstable behavior, he is under medical evaluation at a Berwyn hospital. So far he's been charged with disorderly conduct.
