South Loop School Says Student Brought Bullets Inside Building

(CBS) -- A Chicago school says a student brought bullets into the building Wednesday.

The principal at South Loop Elementary School sent a letter home to parents saying several students saw the bullets and one of them told a teacher.

School administrators called police. The principal says the school is doing everything necessary to protect students.
