Quinn Coy On Plans To Run For Another Public Office
By John Dodge
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Just more than a week removed from his election defeat, Gov. Pat Quinn was asked Thursday about whether he has plans to run for another public office.
Perhaps mayor of Chicago? There always seems to be rampant speculation about anybody who may run against Rahm Emanuel.
"I will take some other questions first," Quinn said, drawing laughter from the assembled media.
The scribes covering the event didn't get a chance to ask a follow-up.
For now, Quinn has the upcoming veto session in Springfield to deal with.
