Dylan's Candy Bar 'Holiday Opening' Tuesday On Michigan Avenue

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Dylan's Candy Bar is opening a Chicago version of its popular New York candy emporium on Tuesday.

Dylan Lauren, yes, the daughter of designer Ralph Lauren, is opening the store at the Tribune Tower at 445 North Michigan Avenue.

Lauren is calling Tuesday's event a "partial holiday opening."

The full-service, 13,000 square foot store will open in the spring.

The New York store, which opened in 2001 is both a local at tourist candy mecca, with over 7,000 candies from around the world.

The store will have its signature lollipop tree, thousands of curated candies from around the world and a full service café and bar perfect for birthday parties to corporate events, according to a news release.

Chicago Store Hours: Monday - Thursday 10am-9pm; Friday - Saturday 10am-10pm; Sunday 11am-8pm.
