76ers Are So Bad That Papa John's Had To Change Its Promotion

(CBS) The purposely tanking 76ers are winless at 0-11, on a path to seriously challenging to be the worst NBA team of all time and feature a roster that even an attentive basketball fan couldn't name more than one player on.

And now the 76ers are rewriting policy at Papa John's in their misery.

Originally, Papa John's was offering 50 percent off online orders at certain locations on the day after the 76ers won. Well, with the 76ers never winning, that promotion has been changed, according to a Tribune story. So now those consumers around participating stores can receive 50 percent off online orders when ... wait for it ... the 76ers score 90 or more points.

That's a pretty low bar, considering the league average is 99.6 points per game and that the 76ers play at the league's second-fastest pace. Yet, Philadelphia has only reached the 90-point threshold five times in 11 games -- and just once in its last five contests.

So before you Philadelphia-area residents get too excited about paying college campus prices for pizza, just temper your expectations. Your team is that bad.
