Police Chase Follows Riverdale Shooting, Kidnapping
(CBS) -- Police in south suburban Riverdale engaged in a high-speed police chase following a shooting and kidnapping Tuesday afternoon.
Police say multiple people were shot at a home at 138th and Steward and a man took off with two children inside. It is not known how many people were shot, but one of the victims died.
The chase ended at 116th and Laflin in Chicago and the two kids were found safe and the driver was taken into custody, but police say the driver is not the suspect in the shooting.
Police say it appears to be an isolated incident.
