Blackhawks Goalie Corey Crawford To Miss 2-3 Weeks

By Chris Emma-

(CBS) Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford will miss two or three weeks after he suffered a left foot injury while missing a step while attending a concert recently, he said.

Crawford declined to answer whether his foot is fractured and whether alcohol was involved in the mishap, saying, "I'm not going to get into the details." He had his left foot in a walking boot Tuesday while speaking at practice.

"I'm embarrassed about it," Crawford said. "It's frustrating.

"I got up the next day, and it was worse than I thought."

Crawford has been stellar this season, going 12-5-1 with a 1.87 goals against average and .929 save percentage. He has started the last 14 games in goal for Chicago, but Antti Raanta will get the nod tonight against St. Louis at the United Center.

The Blackhawks called reserve goalie Scott Darling up Tuesday.
