Trump Penthouse Buyer Living The Dream
(CBS) -- The sale of the Trump Tower penthouse is the most expensive residential sale ever in the city and the man who plunked down $17 million for his second home is a self-made man from India who says he's living the American Dream.
"I call it the crown jewel of Chicago," says businessman Sanjay Shah.
Sanjay Shah, and his wife Hemali have the second highest home in the Western hemisphere.
"This week is really a pinnacle moment for me, my family and my company," Sanjay says.
"It is just the most beautiful view," Hemali says of the residence with views in every direction.
From the 89th floor of Trump Tower, the bean looks more like a seed, 'L' trains, like worms, but the Chicago River is one of Shah's favorite views.
"It's kind of nice how the Chicago River flows...." he says.
At the moment the space has five rooms and more than 14,000 square feet.
What will they do with it all??
"We're not sure how it will all end up but we still have to put our heads together and probably work with a designer and architect to help us figure out."
