Blackhawks Recall Joakim Nordstrom

(CBS) The Blackhawks have recalled forward Joakim Nordstrom from AHL Rockford, they announced Monday afternoon.

The 22-year-old Nordstrom has recorded two assists in 10 games with the Blackahwks this season. He's also recorded 13 points in 17 games with the Icehogs.

The move comes one day after Chicago traded forward Jeremy Morin to Columbus for defenseman Tim Erixon.

The Blackhawks host the Wild on Tuesday evening at the United Center.
