Bears Guard Kyle Long Named 2nd-Team All-Pro

(CBS) Bears guard Kyle Long has been named second-team All-Pro as voted on by the Associated Press. He was the only member of Chicago to make either of the two squads.

It's Long's first All-Pro honor. He garnered five votes. Long was also recently named to his second straight Pro Bowl in as many seasons in the league.

"To be honest it still hasn't really hit me," Long said when asked recently about his second Pro Bowl nod. "I remember when I got drafted last year, I was in the same boat with a lot of people thinking, 'Why the heck did they pick me?' I mean, I was excited, but I really didn't understand and I knew there was a lot of expectations that come along with being a high pick, so I was just trying to be the best teammate I could be and trying to be a sponge and learn."

Texans defensive end J.J. Watt and Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski were the two unanimous selections, as each garnered all 50 votes.
