Man Fatally Struck By Red Line Train On North Side

(STMW) -- A man was fatally struck by a Red Line train early Sunday in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side.

Quinton Davis, 31, was struck about 3 a.m. by a northbound Red Line train at the Argyle station in the 1100 block of West Argyle, officials said.

Davis, of the 3100 block of North Pine, was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:11 a.m., the Cook County medical examiner's office said. An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
