Man Shot And Killed In Washington Park
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was fatally shot Tuesday afternoon in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood.
About 1:40 p.m., 23-year-old Angelo Porter was walking in the 600 block of East 51st Street, at the northern end of Washington Park, when a person approached him from behind and shot him in the head, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the Cook County medical examiner's office said.
