Fremd, Palatine High Schools Warn Parents Of Sexually Explicit Email

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Several students at two high schools in northwest suburban Palatine received an email containing "graphic and offensive" images.

The principals at Fremd High School and Palatine High School sent parents an email warning them about the sexually explicit messages that were sent to several students Tuesday night.

A student told CBS 2 the email included images of someone's buttocks.

The district warned parents and students to be careful about opening any unsolicited email from an unknown source.

Police were investigating, and the district asked anyone who might now who sent the email to call Palatine police at 847-755-2660.
