Bears Sign CB Al Louis-Jean To 2-Year Extension

(CBS) The Bears announced Wednesday they've signed cornerback Al Louis-Jean to a two-year extension, keeping him under contract through the 2016 season.

The 21-year-old Louis-Jean was an undrafted free agent rookie from Boston College in 2014 who appeared in nine games for the Bears, registering 11 tackles, one pass break-up and one special teams tackle.

At 6-foot-1, Louis-Jean has the length teams are looking for at the cornerback position and projects to compete for the Bears' dime cornerback role this fall.

Chicago also reached an agreement with Rick Perry to become the assistant strength coach. Perry spent the last five seasons as Central Michigan University's strength and conditioning coach.
