Man Hospitalized After Portage Park Fire
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A fire in the Portage Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side left one man injured early Friday.
About 1:18 a.m., firefighters responded to the fire in the 5200 block of West Eddy Street, police said.
The man suffered burns and was taken to Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center, police said. His exact age was not immediately available.
It was at least the third fire reported across the city since 7 p.m. Thursday.
