Thursday's Game Against Cavaliers Most Expensive Bulls Tickets Of Regular Season

(TiqIQ) Whatever controversy exists between LeBron James and Kevin Love will have to take the backseat on Thursday when the Cavaliers travel to Chicago. The two superstars have been at the epicenter of a media firestorm early this week, with James supposedly taking to Twitter to express his frustration with Love's recent play.

Just one headline will matter when they take on the Central-leading Bulls on Thursday, however, and that's the team's chance to tie up the division heading into the All-Star break. The Bulls sit atop the Central at 33-20. The Cavs have ridden a 9-1 streak over their last 10 and now trail the Bulls by just a game heading into a Wednesday night game against the Miami Heat.

In rather unsurprising fashion given its importance, Thursday's game will be the most expensive remaining home game on the Bulls schedule this season. The average price for Bulls-Cavaliers tickets on TiqIQ is currently $305.35, which is 50.1 percent above the Bulls' season average of $203.33. The game's cheapest seat will also be the highest-priced get-in among all 17 remaining games at United Center, with the get-in price starting at $68.

Thursday's bout in Chicago will be the third time the two teams have met this season. The Cavaliers took wins in both preceding games, with two of those wins coming at home. Following Thursday's game, they'll meet once more in the regular season for a game at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on April 5.

The Bulls and Cavaliers last played on January 19, when the Cavs cruised to a 14-point victory over the Bulls in Cleveland. James led all scorers with 26 points, while Jimmy Butler contributed 20 for the Bulls. At the time, it was the Bulls' sixth loss in eight games, marking a considerable power shift in the division as the Cavs began their 12-game win streak between Jan. 15 and Feb. 5.
