Four Hurt In Irving Park Crash

(STMW) -- Four people were hurt in a crash involving a van and a taxi early Sunday in the Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The van was heading eastbound in the 3000 block of West Irving Park Road about 3:35 a.m. when it struck a taxi from behind, then hit a parked car before coming to a stop, police said.

The male driver of the taxi was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.

The female driver of the van and two other females from the van were taken to area hospitals, all with minor injuries, police said.

Police said the female driver of the van will be cited.
