Winter Weather Advisory For Chicago Area
By John Dodge
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A messy mix of rain, sleet and snow is in the forecast for Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Chicago area, beginning at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, through noon.
Snow is expected to accumulate to about one inch, but sleet and freezing rain could cause slick roads.
A mix of heavy wet snow and sleet is expected to be falling around the morning commute.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that the wintry mix will cause travel difficulties and limited visibility.
