Chicago Could Appear On Monopoly's Latest Board, If Enough Chicagoans Vote

Take a hike Boardwalk and Park Place, Chicago's ready and willing to take the most important (or at the very least, expensive) spots on the famous Monopoly game board.

In the latest edition of Hasbro's famous Monopoly game, Monopoly Here & Now, the many properties that surround the outer edge of the board are up for grabs.

Currently, the plan is to decide on the cities that occupy those spots through popularity, by having people vote online for their hometowns at www.VoteMonopoly.com.

Good news for Chicago: the Windy City is currently in the top 10. Considering our population, one would hope so. But! Cities worldwide are fighting for one of the 20 available spots, so even though Chicago is the third biggest city in America, it's still got some tough competition.

Also, is it just me, or is it offensive to compare New York pizza to Chicago style hot dogs? While our hot dogs are amazing, I'd prefer to watch our pizza go head to head with New York's.

What can I say? I love drama.
