White Sox Tie Diamondbacks, 3-3

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Micah Johnson belted a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Chicago White Sox tied the Arizona Diamondbacks, 3-3, on Monday.

Paul Goldschmidt drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, and Tuffy Gosewich and Danny Worth added run-scoring singles for the Diamondbacks. Also, A.J. Pollock went 3 for 3.

Chase Anderson, vying for a spot in the Diamondbacks' rotation, blanked the White Sox over 2 2-3 innings.

Jose Quintana, Chicago's likely No. 3 starter, allowed one run and three hits in two innings while striking out three.
