Perfect Parade Weather For The St. Patrick's Day Weekend

CHICAGO (CBS) -- If you're going to either of the St. Patrick's Day parades in Chicago this weekend (or both), you couldn't ask for a better forecast.

While it won't be as warm as Friday's temperatures in the 60s, there should be plenty of sun and mild weather on Saturday and Sunday.

Aside from spotty showers far south of Chicago on Friday, there's virtually no chance of rain for the entire 7-day forecast.

On Saturday, when the Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade celebrates its 60th anniversary along Columbus Drive downtown, temperatures will be in the low to middle 50s, with mostly clear skies.

The weather will be pretty much the same for the South Side Irish Parade on Sunday in the Beverly neighborhood, even though that morning will start out a bit chillier, with temperatures in the high 30s in the morning, but then soaring into the 50s by noon.

Monday might be a cloudy start to the week, but it will bring a return of temperatures in the 60s, with a high of about 64.

On St. Patrick's Day itself on Tuesday, it will be much cooler, with a high of only 45.
