Social Service Agency Employee Fondled Teen Volunteer: Police

(STMW) -- An employee of a northwest suburban social service agency is charged with inappropriately touching a teenage volunteer he was supervising.

Ricky L. Fecht, 56, was arrested Friday and charged with one count of felony criminal sexual assault, according to a statement from Mount Prospect police.

Authorities claim Fecht inappropriately touched a 16-year-old who was volunteering at Northwest Compass Inc., 1300 W. Northwest Highway, police said.

Fecht was an employee and was in charge of supervising volunteers at the time of the alleged assault, police said.

Fecht, of the 700 block of West Dempster Street in unincorporated Mount Prospect, was ordered held on $225,000 at a bond hearing Monday, police said. He will next appear in court April 7 at the Rolling Meadows courthouse.

Anyone with further information relating to the case is asked to contact Mount Prospect police at (847) 870-5654.
