View: Helmet Exhibit Installed Downtown As NFL Draft Approaches

(CBS) The presence of the upcoming NFL Draft in Chicago is already being seen.

Large helmets of every NFL team have been installed at Pioneer Court along North Michigan Avenue as the draft approaches. The exhibit is part of a promotion by Pepsi in which the company is giving away free tickets to the NFL Draft, which will be held from April 30 to May 2 at Auditorium Theatre at Roosevelt University.

The NFL has already gone all out with its plans for the draft in Chicago, as Congress Plaza will host "Selection Square," which will serve as the home of the 32 team draft tables. Meanwhile, Grant Park will be transformed into "Draft Town," which will be a 900,000-square-foot area that features food, music and a flag football competition.

Draft Town hours of operation will be Thursday, April 30 from 4-10 p.m.; Friday, May 1 from 4-10 p.m.; and Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m.–7 p.m.

Buckingham Fountain will also be lit up in the colors of the team on the clock during the first two days of the draft.
