Ex-Bear Ray McDonald Arrested For Violating Restraining Order

(CBS) -- Former Chicago Bear Ray McDonald was arrested Wednesday afternoon for violating a restraining order, according to the Santa Clara Police Department.

Police say McDonald violated a restraining order at about 2:52 p.m. Wednesday for being at a residence in Santa Clara. The restraining order was issued after his arrest on Memorial Day for domestic violence and child endangerment, police said. McDonald was taken into custody without incident.

The Bears released the lineman on Memorial Day after he was arrested for domestic violence and child endangerment. He signed for the team in March and last played for the San Francisco 49ers, who released him last December after he was investigated for an alleged sexual assault
