Shooting On Ike Closes Westbound Lanes, No One Injured
(CBS) -- Illinois state police were on the scene of a reported shooting in the outbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway Monday evening.
The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on in the westbound lanes of I-290 at Kostner. Police say a vehicle was struck by bullets, but no one in the car was hit. Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots.
Troopers were canvassing the closed lanes, looking for evidence.
