Comic-Con 2015 To Kick Off With CBS Blockbuster Programming

Once a year, geeks, nerds, comic enthusiasts and pop culture obsessives descend on San Diego to hear about the latest and greatest in sci-fi thrillers, supernatural programming and, of course, the comic book world.

Comic-Con 2015 is set to take place July 9-12, and everyone is gearing up for another year of cosplay and celebrity sightings. Past Comic-Con events have seen the likes of A-listers such as Chris Hemsworth, Olivia Munn,  Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black and Jessica Alba, and this year is sure to be no different.

The entertainment event has also been debuting new projects from film and television studios for countless years now.

This year, CBS will be presenting its own blockbuster programming and is inviting its viewers to envision a life without limits, to imagine a world taken over by violent animals, to trust the future of mankind in the hands of one woman, to join Team Scorpion and to catch up with life under the dome.

On the very first day of Comic-Con, the network will include an exclusive premiere screening of the highly anticipated new CBS series "Limitless," a special sneak peek at the newest summer event series, "Zoo," and a look at what’s ahead for the hit returning series "Scorpion," "Extant" and "Under The Dome."

But first, the day will kick off with a special reading of "The Autobiography of James T. Kirk" by Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner.

CBS' block of panels and screenings is the perfect start to an event that promises to take its fans into a world of fantasy and science fiction.
