Corey Crawford Drops An F-Bomb At Blackhawks Rally ... Again

(CBS) At the Blackhawks' rally in 2013 to celebrate the Stanley Cup, goalie Corey Crawford infamously dropped a couple F-bombs, to the chagrin of some in the organization.

So the biggest surprise of Thursday's rally to celebrate Chicago's latest championship wasn't that Crawford again dropped an expletive. It's that he got his hands on the microphone and had the chance to do so again.

In front of 70,000-plus fans at Soldier Field, Crawford was introduced as a two-time Cup-winning goaltender, then walked to the podium.

"F***-ing right Chicago!" he yelled.

The team had reportedly asked Crawford to tone it down, but hey, Crawford's going to Crawford. Adding to the intrigue of all this is that a day prior, Crawford had promised to behave well and watch his language.

"I'm going to try to be a little more professional," Crawford told the Chicago Tribune. "I owe it to all the mothers in the crowd."

Well, Crawford tried. He certainly played well to the crowd, which went crazy.
