Construction Worker Shot In Auburn-Gresham

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A construction worker was shot early Tuesday in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 21-year-old man was leaving a building he was rehabbing in the 8200 block of South Justine Street at 12:34 a.m. when someone drove up and fired at him, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.

He was shot in the left leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized.
