Man Fatally Shot In Back Of The Yards Drive-By
(STMW) -- A 32-year-old man was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting early Saturday in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
About 3:40 a.m., the man was a passenger in a car in the 4500 block of South Hermitage when a SUV pulled alongside and someone inside opened fire, striking the man in the side, police said.
The man showed up at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner's office could not confirm the death Saturday morning.
