Man, Woman Shot In Grand Crossing
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man and woman were shot Sunday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.
About 8:10 p.m., two gunmen approached the victims in the 8000 block of South Stewart Avenue and opened fire, police said.
The 48-year-old woman was shot in both legs and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where her condition stabilized. The man, 33, was shot in the right ankle and right foot and was also taken to Christ, where his condition stabilized, police said.
