Man Shot At Park In Brookfield
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 22-year-old man was shot at a park in west suburban Brookfield Thursday night.
About 9 p.m., he and two other people were yelling at each other at J.C. Ehlert Park near Congress Park and Elm avenues, according to a statement from Brookfield police.
One of the other people then shot him in the back, police said. He was taken to a hospital but police did not release his condition.
The shooter and "accomplice" ran away eastbound through the park toward Prairie Avenue, police said.
