Notes: Baez fractured his left ring finger on June 7 and is expected to be out until at least early August. Earlier in July, he was cleared to swing a bat and return to baseball activities. On Saturday, Iowa Cubs manager Marty Pevey told the Des Moines Register that Baez was still two-and-a-half to three weeks away from returning.
