Illinois Completes Non-Conference Basketball Schedule
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — Illinois has announced home games with South Dakota, Yale and Western Carolina to complete a non-conference basketball schedule that already included Notre Dame.
The Illini released their full con-conference schedule Wednesday.
The previously announced game against Notre Dame on Dec. 2 will be the first game in the newly renovated State Farm Center. The game will be part of the annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
After that the Illini will host Western Carolina on Dec. 5, Yale on Dec. 9 and South Dakota on Dec. 19.
The annual Braggin' Rights game against Missouri will be Dec. 23.
The Illini had already announced they'll open their season with a Nov. 8 exhibition against Illinois-Springfield in Springfield while work continues on their home arena. Four more Springfield games will follow.
