Police Search For Missing Elderly Man In Chicago, Spring Grove Man Located

(CBS) -- Police in Chicago are searching for a missing man in Chicago and a man in Spring Grove was located safe.

Chicago police are searching for 76-year-old Clyde Davenport, who was last seen near 57th and Damen on Friday.

Davenport is 5 feet 9 inches and weighs 190 pounds and was wearing a black baseball cap, white T-shirt, blue jeans and black gym shoes, police said.

Police say he frequents the area on Damen from 61st to 67th. Davenport suffers from Alzheimers and walks with a shuffle.

If seen, police say to call 911 or Chicago Police Area South Detectives at 312-747-8274.

A man in Spring Grove reported missing since Friday has been found safe. 82-year-old Donald Ukeja was located in Chicago Saturday night after his vehicle ran out of gas. A Good Samaritan allowed him to use his cell phone and he was able to contact family. He was uninjured but transported to the hospital for an evaluation
